Vacancy: Human Factors design Leader

Responsibilities:
1)To lead a human factors team and staff with diversified knowledge background, conduct and coordinate user experience research, human factors engineering support , ergonomics (comfort and fit) research to a wide array of product development and innovation activities
2)Work with the business leaders, project leaders and senior researchers to understand customer needs, initiate and develop projects and set up research funding for the team.
3)To work effectively with other Research labs and teams, software Development teams, new product design and development teams and marketing teams.
4)Initiate and coordinate global meetings and communications.
5)Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal business units＇ leaders, new product introduction team and other teams such as software development, product management, and marketing teams.
6)Demonstrate excellent leadership, and mentoring skills to inspire, motivate, and grow an effective UX team
7)Demonstrate excellent knowledge and skills in human factors research, scientific research methodologies, user centered design and diversified industrial domain knowledge so as to hands on research and design work and ensure the quality of deliverables generated by the team.
8)To plan, organize, co-ordinate and implement projects in timely manner to ensure quality, schedule and requirements are met.
9)Able to drive the team to implement projects in timely manner to ensure quality, schedule and requirements are met.
10)To be able to work under pressures and meet strict deadlinesBe up to date on the Brands vision and objectives

Requirements:
1)Masters or PHD degree (preferred) with a background in Information design / Human Factors / Cognitive Science / Ergonomics, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
2)5+ years in human factors related research, design and support work in the industries, e.g., building control, automation, aviation, fire, security, etc
3)A combination of experience with user experience studies, user centered design, human factors research and ergonomics research is a plus a significant plus
4)Excellent project management skill and communication skills
5)Fluent in written and oral English
6)Experience in multi-national project, work with Global team
7)Demonstrated in publications and patent filings is a significant plus
